Habitat for Humanity India, under the IndiaBUILDS campaign has built over 35,000 houses impacting the lives of over 175,000 people across 17 states of India and well on its way to meet the campaign goals set forth in 2006.
Habitat in India with a view to grow its reach in providing safe decent houses for the less fortunate, has now integrated itself with Habitat for Humanity International’s A World of Hope campaign: It Starts At Home and rejuvenated the IndiaBUILDS campaign under the campaign titled; IndiaBUILDS - A World Of Hope. The goal of this campaign is to ensure exponential growth of its reach, revolve around 5 major areas of intervention; |

| 1. To Serve 100,000 families by 2015 through meeting the housing needs of these families. |
| The IndiaBUILDS - A World of Hope campaign hopes to realize this dream by helping raise USD 90.5 million to build, repair and rehabilitate 100,000 houses, in toto, by 2015. |

| 2. To Advocate for the need and provide access to safe and decent shelter for all; |
| IndiaBUILDS - A World of Hope campaign endeavours to raise USD 1 million, to meet the challenges involved in driving change through policy formulation and thereby giving those less fortunate citizens of the country, a chance to realize the dream of a permanent shelter. |

| 3. To provide growth through sustainability and to reduce the cost of construction through the use of innovative construction techniques; |
| IndiaBUILDS - A World of Hope campaign has mandated to address this need and will endeavour to raise USD 2million towards the same. |

| 4. To assist in mitigating the impact of disasters and in responding to future disasters |
| IndiaBUILDS - A World of Hope campaign endeavours to create a corpus of USD 1 million to meet the needs of the National Disaster Team to strategically address the areas of risk reduction and rehabilitation. |

| 5. To strengthen the hands of Habitat for Humanity India by building capacity of its manpower and helping it gain access to newer technologies. |
