Mr Anil Singhvi

Mr. Anil Singhvi is the Vice Chairman,
Reliance Natural Resources.

I-Can was founded to advise FIIs for their investments into Indian Capital markets. It’s a joint venture between Mr. Anil Singhvi and Notz Stucki. Notz Stucki is an Independent Asset manager based out of Geneva. They manage over US$ 17 billion globally.

Prior to joining I-Can, Mr. Singhvi was the Managing Director of Ambuja Cements Ltd, where he joined in 1986 as Dy. Manager and rose to become the Managing Director.

A professional Chartered Accountant, Mr. Singhvi played a major role in the making of Ambuja Cements. The company rose from a small plant of .7million tones to 17 million tones company during his period with the company. Recently the company became a part of Holcim.

But his contribution is not limited to the cement sector. He is very closely associated with SAMPARC- a non government organization that works to empower the needy children and provides them not only shelter but a complete way of life.

He has also played a pioneering role in establishing the Indian Association of CFOs and Treasurers (INACT) which is a body of the CFOs of the mainline Indian Corporates.

He has been on the advisory board of the various committees of SEBI to suggest the changes in the capital markets in India. Apart from this he has been on to the committees of various Chambers of Commerce.
