| Habitat for Humanity India built its first house in the Asia Pacific region in Khammam in Andhra Pradesh. Since then Habitat for Humanity India, has built or repaired homes with 37,000 families in need. This includes serving around 13,000 families through a post – tsunami reconstruction program covering the states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Over the years, Habitat has worked in 16 states across India, through local affiliates and through Habit Resources Centers located at Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai. The above positions supports the sustainability and brand building goals of resource mobilization of the Habitat for Humanity regional resource development team through effective donor relations events, celebrity engagements, research support to the team from time to time; supports the annual qualitative and capacity building resource (fundraising) development targets of Habitat for Humanity regional resource development team through capacity estimates on prospects through thorough research and well-written reports, logistics support for strategic meetings Resources Development Team and also liaise with Communications team
This position will work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to support the Capital campaign –IndiaBUILDS |

| Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: |
| |
| 1. |
Minimum Qualification graduate/ post grade preferred |
| 2. |
5+ years of front-line experience in fundraising from corporations, high net-worth individuals in large, nationwide setting or regional setting as part of a nationally/regionally deployed team or front-line sales in a corporate setting with a passion for social development projects and marketing |
| 3. |
Demonstrated track record or successful fundraising in an environment of similar complexity. Experience in a multi-national federated organization with the ability to thrive. |
| 4. |
Collaborating with others in a complex, matrix-structured, dynamic organizational environment. A track record of positioning affiliated entities as valued customers, and experience managing between the needs of the national office and the interests of the donor/investor |

Innovative, creative, strategic and analytical thinker |

Ability to engage senior managers and board members in donor visits, and to earn and maintain their confidence |
| 7. |
Successful experience closing complex seven-figure commitments including planned gifts, campaign and endowment gifts, and investment options |
