The JBIMS Alumni Buy Bricks and Build Homes Campaign
The Alumni of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai and
Habitat for Humanity India have joined hands to help provide safe, secure and decent shelter to
India’s poor through the Buy Bricks Build Homes campaign.
To participate, all you have to do is to buy some bricks, each of which priced at Rs. 5.
The next step is to get in touch with your batch matesand together buy 30,000 bricks that will
help build 1 house.
We are hoping that each batch will come together and help build at least 1 to
2 houses. Several batches have already come together to buy bricks and build homes. We look forward to
many of you coming forward to help make this campaign a success. So act now! Get together
with your batch mates and take action.
These houses will be built in Karjat, Maharashtra.
Join us on a visit to the build site in Karjat, Maharashtra in November 2011. Here’s your
chance to see Habitat homes, interact with the community and see how safe and secure shelter
